Hello...
I found something really exciting and thought I would share it with you all. Do you ever get that urge for cookies? Not just any cookies but warm, melty, soft in the middle ones? Well I do! And today was when I got that sudden urge for them. So on my lunch break I popped into good ol' Asda and searched...obviously I didn't find warm cookies in there and so I started picking up ingredients to make them at home, until I came across this...
I know, this is sort of the lazy way but let's not forget I had a big urge for them and every second is precious. And to my surprise the only thing I needed to add was water? What only water? This is brilliant - why make homemade cookies again? But as they say 'the proof is in the pudding'. Here is me making these...such a long task as you can see...
Hmm, wondering if two table spoons is actually sufficient...
I added a little extra because it just looked like bread crumbs otherwise...
The top right one doesn't look round, I lack in skills...
I wanted to recreate the cookie oven gif but I didn't know how, so here's a picture instead:
And after 15mins DA Da dA
Cookies photo shoot...
That's my favourite Winnie the Pooh plate, thought it gave it that 'home baked' feel.
Is your mouth watering yet? Mine is...wait there just going to go and get another.
Okay so a review:
Recipe: 10/10
Mess: 9/10 (only 2 spoons & bowl to wash up)
Bite: 9/10 (soft and melty inside)
Taste: 7/10 (quite sweet)
Chocolate chip taste: 7/10
Cat's opinion: 10/10 (don't worry didn't really feed him cookies, that could be dangero...well they are mine, no sharing)
Overall feedback: Okay so for £1, it's a quick, simple treat. And you do get what you pay for. But I am slightly impressed but nothing ever will compete with my homemade ones. Really the question you have to ask yourself is, are you lazy? Yes: Buy packet / No: Make your own
Hoping I can get another post up in the next month - here's to hoping.
Love you guys who read :)
