My very cool new lights

Oops! I did it again didn't I? I ignored you! I am sorry, this week has been a hard one for me, one that I didn't want to encounter but things are looking up now, so it gave me the motivation to get back to my blog :) (I'm here for the long haul, so don't go anywhere ok?) 

So these lights...well here they are: 

You like? Thought so! They give off such a warm and inviting vibe. I had been eyeing them up for a long time, so I bought them in this little boutique store in a villiage I live near, but what's the point of me telling you about them if you can't get them yourself...so I looked around the internet and dadadada! I found them on this website: http://cableandcotton.co.uk - No need to thank me! Mine are called 'Turkish Delight' in the pre-selected section. I'm thinking of buying another set, just so I can mix things up a bit. Maybe Summer and Winter ones...oh but then there is Autumn and Spring, I can't really buy 3 sets can I...

I'm sort of in this colourful faze at the moment. I bought this rug quite a while ago: 

And I just left it in the cupboard as it didn't really look right (my bedroom is a collection of browns, beiges and creams, so this stood out too much. However when the lights arrived in my room, it sort of made sense to bring out the rug, which at £4 was a great buy.
